P.A.CLIFTON has always felt that Art
expression taps into the deepest part of a persons mind and draws the energy needed to stay at peace with ones inner-self.
Which allows visions to become realities.
Along with her African-American
Haitian/Cherokee parents and grandparents she grew up between two cities Cleveland, Ohio and Tulsa, OK. Traveling over the
years throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Living with other cultures, and finding beauty everywhere. PAC realized early in her life, that she had actual artistic talent and wanted to follow in the footsteps
of a favorite relative, Aunt Angie Leer, an unknown Artist, during the Harlem renaissance era.
It has been within the last 10-15
years that PAC has reached the discipline to be competitive. Over the years she has worked on many projects within the communities
where she lived. She has given away many works of Art, to people who she says made a difference in her life. On the subject
of taste her Art/Designs are mainly ones that fit her own inner thoughts about a subject. She applauds the elegance of primitive
art and the brilliance of self-taught artist who strive to survive in the Art world at large. She says “ I like to make
my Art/Designs a portal so people can feel and travel through the light that surrounds them every moment of the day and protects
them from harm.
PAC is a self-taught Visual Artist/Fashion
Designer; however, she has attended various art classes, workshops (The Cleveland Institute of Art, Cuyahoga Community College,
Tulsa Junior College, Draughons School of Fashion Merchandise). PAC worked thousands of hours, doing volunteer work as a Senior
AmeriCorp, member with the Homeless Coalition, DVIS, Drug/Alcohol outreach street unit, Catholic Charities. PAC has sponsored
many youth group Art activities. PAC is an Alumni of The Karamu House, a community orientated center that taught her visual
arts, dance, drama in the 1950’s. PAC has published articles in the Oklahoma Eagle, consulted with young models with
the Barbizon
Modeling School. And the list goes on!

PAC says “when you do things
out of your hearts mind and look back over your life, you realize that you really cannot count your blessings. But the knowledge
of your free expressions of giving small or large will always be recorded in another person’s mind. So be grateful and
keep working on your passion what ever it is and the blessing of life will continue until the day you meet the light in the
heavens.
Remember, “You are a work
of Art yourself.”
